HISTORY

Our Story

Cool King Refrigeration Ltd. was founded by Joseph Kowaz on August 14, 1987. The company started as a one-man operation and has grown to include a fleet of service trucks and a sales and service team dedicated to the healthcare, hotel, and restaurant industries providing quality refrigeration and HVAC products throughout Canada.

Initially the business was run out of Joseph’s garage and, as a testament to his hard work and dedication, moved to larger premises on East 4th Avenue in Vancouver, BC in the early ‘90’s. In June 2007, Cool King Refrigeration Ltd. relocated once again to a new 11,000 square foot facility at 680 Evans Avenue furthering our commitment to our customers. In 2014, the company opened a 20,000 square foot facility in Mississauga, Ontario.
